With many compatible AppLink SYNC 3 vehicles on the market, Ford will continue to support SDL with their branded version "AppLink" in the new SYNC 4 and SYNC 4A software.
The new software will include Remote control capabilities through SDL (called Convenience Controls) and wireless projection apps, including Waze and Sygic.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be the first Ford vehicle with SYNC 4A - available in the late 2020 year.
